Child Guardianship Checklist
When nominating the guardian of your children, it is important to discuss your intentions with the prospective guardian and obtain their consent. During this discussion, it’s a good idea to share the set of guidelines and expectations that you have prepared.
Although those guidelines are not enforceable, they reflect your wishes for how your children will be raised. They also help the nominated guardian make informed decisions in raising your loved ones in the event that you cannot.
To help you prepare the guidelines, we created the Child Guardianship Checklist that details the ten most important things you should consider.
