Will my Power of Attorney remain valid if I move to another State or Territory within Australia?
Usually, if you move from one state or territory to another, your power of attorney will still be valid.
However, different states and territories have slightly different laws about powers of attorney. If you move interstate, it’s a good idea to make sure your attorney will still be able to do what they need to as your attorney from another state or territory.
