What is the State Trustees
State Trustees manages the State Trustees Australia Foundation, a perpetual public ancillary fund, which enables Victorians to support eligible charities in a flexible, lasting way.
Founded in 1994, the Foundation positively impacts our community through encouraging and engaging in effective philanthropy.
Through the Foundation, you can donate in perpetuity to a charitable purpose close to your heart. Alternatively, you can choose to support general charitable purposes and, at present, the Foundation has a particular focus on helping vulnerable Victorians disadvantaged by ageing, disability and mental health.
The majority of its funds under management are sourced from will bequests. Each year, the Foundation distributes money to charitable organisations based on the wishes of donors and bequestors. A portion of this funding forms the basis of our Granting Programs.
