State Trustees appoints CEO

The Board of State Trustees is pleased to announce that John Velegrinis will be the Chief Executive Officer of State Trustees.

John has extensive experience leading financial institutions with a focus on improving services for clients. After a long career at the ANZ bank, including stints running its operations in the Pacific, John was CEO of the Australian Scholarships Group.

State Trustees will benefit from John’s experience managing complex financial operations, supporting individuals to innovate and achieve within a framework of strong values, ethics and good governance, and his commitment to improving client outcomes.

John commenced his role with State Trustees on 16 August 2021.
