Every Victorian over 18 should have a legally valid will . Without a will, you won’t have a say in what happens to your estate when you die. You won’t get to choose how your property and belongings are distributed. You also won’t be able to control who makes your final decisions. Without a will it can also take much longer to settle all paperwork (12 months or more), and the costs can be higher.
