Victorian Seniors urged to get a Will this October
More than half of all Victorians don’t have a Will in place, leaving their loved ones without any idea of their preferences for how to manage their assets and sentimental items after they die.
While most Victorians aged over 60 have a Will, many of these are potentially out of date and don’t reflect a person’s current circumstances.
It’s reasonably straightforward to set up a Will – and not as arduous or expensive as some may think. Our research also shows our clients feel a sense of relief after they have completed their Will.
That’s why this October, as part of the Victorian Seniors Festival, we’re offering a half price Will appointment to all Victorians over 60.
“Your Will is often your last message to your loved ones. No matter how straightforward your circumstances, having a Will ensures everyone understands what you’d like done with your estate”, says State Trustees CEO, Matt Carrick.
“Only half of all Victorians have a Will in place. At State Trustees we know that an up to date Will is the best way to ensure that everything Victorians have built over their lifetimes can be shared just the way they want it.”
“During the month of October, as part of Victorian Seniors Festival, we’re offering half price Wills to all Victorians over 60.”
“Our offer is for a half price Will appointment with one of our expert Will writers. At this appointment you will get quality advice and the comfort of knowing everything is in place.”
“This offer can be used to prepare a new Will or update an existing Will. To secure this offer make sure you contact us soon, as the offer closes on 31 October.”
All Victorians aged over 60 will receive one half price Will appointment and couples will be booked for two appointments. If you are 60 years of age and over, you will pay $48.50 when you appoint State Trustees as sole Executor, or $100 for all other Executor appointments, for each individual.
This offer can be used to prepare a new Will or update an existing Will.
