Interim Chair for State Trustees Announced
State Trustees Limited has announced the interim appointment of Sue O’Connor as its Chair effective 1 July 2015 following the resignation of current Chair and Director Dino Georgiou.
Mr Georgiou, a Director of State Trustees since 2011 and its Chair since June 2014, elected to step down from the Board following his taking up of additional responsibilities and overseas travel commitments as a senior executive in Telstra’s Global Enterprise and Services business. Mr Georgiou welcomed Sue O’Connor as the interim Chair and thanked the Board and CEO, Craig Dent for their support, in particular over the last 12 months.

I believe State Trustees has an exciting future as it continues to evolve into a commercially sustainable organisation focussed on delivering service excellence and innovation to meet the needs of all Victorians, in particular its most vulnerable. I’d like to congratulate Sue on her appointment as interim Chair and wish the Board, CEO Craig Dent, and the leadership team every success for the future” said Mr Georgiou.
An experienced Chair and Director, Sue O’Connor joined the State Trustees Board in December 2013. She brings a wealth of knowledge and experience with more than 20 years of senior executive and board consulting experience in strategy digital transformation and risk management.

CEO, Craig Dent congratulated Ms O’Connor on her appointment as interim Chair and thanked Mr Georgiou for his support and contribution to State Trustees.
“Mr Georgiou has made a substantial contribution to the overall growth and development of State Trustees as a commercial organisation, in particular through his involvement in the whole of business transformation program commenced by the company in 2012. I wish him all the very best for the future” said Mr Dent.
