How does the Victorian Will and Powers of Attorney Registry work?

The registry helps make sure your documents are found. You need to let your executor and attorney know to contact us when the time comes. We will only ever release the information to you or your chosen executor or attorney.

We keep the following information under the registry:

  • details of the person making the will or powers of attorney
  • details of where your will or powers of attorney are stored
  • details of your executors or attorneys
  • the physical documents, if you have chosen to store them with us.
