Culture of contribution
Our people have pride in making a lasting difference in the Victorian community.
State Trustees has a long history of promoting charitable causes, including enabling staff to donate to charities to make a real and long lasting contribution to the Victorian Community. Our Wholehearted Giving program is a company initiative that offers our people the opportunity to make personal financial charitable donations from their salaries.
The Wholehearted Giving program fosters a lot of pride in our people when they see their contribution making a change in someone’s life. In 2016, the recipients of program donations were Foodbank Victoria, the Special Olympics Dandenong Valley and the Bendigo Foodshare Soup Kitchen.
Employees also have an opportunity to volunteer at a number of State Trustees community events such as our annual CONNECTED Art Exhibition that celebrates emerging artists with a disability and an experience of mental illness.
