1 July 2019 price changes explained

Every year at State Trustees we conduct a review of our pricing to ensure it remains fair and equitable. As the state trustee for Victoria, we want Victorians to access our services when they need it most.

We want every Victorian to have a Will in place. To help enable this, from 1 July we will bring down the age that Victorians will receive a discount on Will consultations from 75 to 60. This will be partially offset by removing the 10% discount for a Senior’s Card.

As an example, if you choose State Trustees to act as your executor, the cost of a Will for someone from the age of 60 will drop to $97 (previously $200) and for those that choose another executor, the price will drop to $200 (previously $330).

As part of this pricing update we are simplifying our property fees by charging the same amount for sale or purchase transactions. In addition, we are increasing our legal, conveyancing and financial planning fees by up to 2.3%.

The rest of our fees remain unchanged, which include Will kits, Enduring Power of Attorney documents, Genealogy and Tax services.

You will not pay any more for these services with State Trustees.
