Learning & Development

We are committed to promoting and providing learning and development opportunities for all employees.

Your learning will also be supported by:

  • An extensive series of facilitated courses offered through our Organisational Learning Calendar
  • An increasing suite of e learning programs
  • A resource library with a range of books, articles, video and learning activities

If you have aspirations to develop as a leader or manager your development will be well supported with an extensive suite of leadership and management development programs.

The Management Fundamentals Program

  • A work based program aimed to develop the nuts and bolts of management
  • The program is conducted over an 18 month period and leads to a Diploma in Management from Deakin University

The Senior Management Development Program

  • An intensive program that exposes participants to a range of  commercial and strategic aspects of leadership
  • The program is conducted over 2 years and leads to a Graduate Certificate of Corporate Management form Deakin University
  • The program articulates into an MBA, so units are delivered at a Masters level of study

The Team Leader Development Program

  • A program designed to uncover the potential development needs of new or potential Team Leaders

The Team Leader Growth Program

  • A series of half day workshops aimed at developing critical Team Leadership competencies
  • The workshops are delivered by senior managers of the business and aim to expose participants to real business challenges and issues

Education Assistance Program

We also recognise the value that a formal qualification brings to both the organisation and the individual. We actively support and encourage our people to gain formal qualifications through our Education Assistance Scheme.

The scheme provides support through:

  • The reimbursement of specified education expenses following successful semester/ course completion
  • Paid study and/or examination leave to a maximum of five days per calendar year.
