Community Investment
As a community service provider, social responsibility is part and parcel of everything we do. We also support the community with the following activities:
- connected™ annual art exhibition, featuring the work of artists with a disability or mental illness, incorporating a community forum
- The Victorian Seniors Festival
- State Trustees-Community Grants Program, which distributes $40,000 each year
- State Trustees Charity Ball, which raises funds to support one of our community partners
- Casual for a Cause, a monthly fundraising activity for staff
- Community partnerships:
- Social Club fundraising activities
Our community investment activities not only provide much needed support, but are an essential part of our attracting and keeping our staff. A Corporate Responsibility Working Group monitors our community partnerships, to ensure alignment with our business strategies.
